Lost Letters

The Art of Today

Dear You,

Do what you love. Be in touch with the things that set your heart on fire and cause your soul to smile. Keep your arms wrapped tightly around them. Let your days be filled with you pouring out all of yourself, living wholly, without fear or limits. Tell your parents that you miss them, when you do, and hug your sister tightly till she wiggles away to catch her breath. Tell your brother how amazing he is, that you see him and you can be his safe space. Buy your friends a gift, anything. Let them know how blessed you are to journey through life with them.

Learn to laugh without any care in the world, till happy tears roll down your cheeks and your chest is as light as cotton. Teach your heart to see the beauty that lies in the simplicity of life, taking in every moment, every second that waltzes by, like a child that watches fireworks.

Give love a chance. Make that call a minute longer. Say yes to that date on Friday. Let her know how you feel. Let him know that you want to make it work. One of the greatest blessings of life is having someone to share it with, don’t close your heart to this.

Dear you, life is short. Live as much as you can. Don’t waste another second.

  1. Love it! Always love them. I usually don’t read blogs cos I’m lengthophobic, but this just works for me. So so rich every time yet brief, perfect for me. Bless you!
