I raised my eyes to heaven
Tears heavy like the halo of grief
“I wish we had more time”
I whispered to the wind
I raised my eyes to heaven
Hoping you could see me
“You have left us here o”
I whispered to the wind
I raised my eyes to heaven
Knowing you could see me
“We miss you here”
I whispered to the wind
I raised my eyes to heaven
Your Chinese lantern floats
“Till we meet again, beloved”
I whispered to the wind
It’s soo hard being stuck when everyone seems to be moving on, I lost my husband two years ago. Thank you for this piece

Sigh. Grief is such a complex thing but we should be allowed to feel it however we can. Let it move though our bones, sit with us and help us walk through memory lane as many times as we need to before we can breathe again.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I pray you have the strength to show up everyday, for him❤️

I never really cry when I read things, but this pulled a heart string and I found myself crying. Thanks for reminding us that it’s okay to grieve ❤️.

Till we meet again beloved. I absolutely connected with this. I lost a dear friend on the last day of August. I was so happy he was recovering, long story but grief can be so hard.
